Tips Lamb's lettuce

Soil preparation
- Lamb's lettuce prefers light, well-drained soil. It thrives in soils rich in organic matter, but not too heavy.
- The ideal pH for lamb's lettuce is slightly acidic, around 6.0 to 6.5. Well-prepared soil will encourage rapid growth.
- Before planting, it is recommended to amend the soil with compost to improve its structure and fertility.
Planting
- Plant lamb's lettuce in spring or fall, placing seeds at a depth of 1 to 2 cm.
- Leave 20 cm between each seed to allow each plant to grow properly.
- Plant lamb's lettuce in a partially shaded location, as it prefers to avoid full sun, especially during hot periods.
Watering
- Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid overwatering which can lead to rot problems.
- Reduce watering during cooler periods, but remember to water young plants to help them establish.
Harvesting
- Harvest lamb's lettuce about 6 to 8 weeks after planting, when the leaves are large enough and well-developed.
- Cut the leaves at the base of the plant, being careful not to damage the roots. You can harvest in portions or the entire plant.
